Terms of use

Last updated 4 August 2026

1. Who you're dealing with

MyRound is provided by Develophero, a sole trader in the United Kingdom (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the app you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with them, don't use it.

2. MyRound is in beta

This is a working app used on real rounds, but it is still in beta. That means:

Keep your own records. Don't rely on MyRound as your only copy of anything you can't afford to lose, particularly figures you need for tax.

3. What it costs

MyRound is free while it is in beta. There is no card to enter and no trial period counting down. If we ever introduce a charge, we will tell you before it applies to you, and you will be able to decline it and stop using the service without paying anything.

4. Your account

5. Your data, and your customers' data

The round you build in MyRound is yours. We claim no ownership of it and we don't sell it.

Your customers' details are your responsibility as their data controller. By entering them you confirm you are entitled to hold them and to instruct us to process them on your behalf, including sending text messages to the numbers you provide. How we handle all of it is set out in our privacy policy.

6. Using it properly

Don't use MyRound to break the law, to send unsolicited marketing messages, to store other people's data without a proper basis, or to harass anyone. Don't try to break into it, overload it, pull it apart, or resell access to it. We may suspend an account that is doing any of that.

7. Messages you send

When you text a customer through the app, that message is from you, not from us. You are responsible for its content and for having the right to contact that person. Message delivery depends on networks outside our control, so we can't guarantee a message arrives.

8. Availability

We aim to keep MyRound running and to fix faults promptly, but we don't promise uninterrupted service. Maintenance, third-party outages and beta instability all happen. The app is provided “as is”, and we don't give any warranty that it will be error-free or fit for a particular purpose beyond what the law requires us to give.

9. Where our liability stops

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot legally be limited.

Subject to that, and because MyRound is provided free of charge during the beta, we are not liable for business losses — lost profit, lost income, lost customers, lost or corrupted data, or any indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to £100.

10. Our software stays ours

The app, its design, name and content belong to us. You get permission to use MyRound for your own business while these terms are in force — nothing more is transferred.

11. Ending it

You can stop using MyRound and ask us to delete your account at any time. We can suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and we can withdraw the beta service — if we do, we will give reasonable notice and a way to export your records first.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the app develops. The date at the top shows the current version, and we will tell you in the app or by email where a change materially affects you. Continuing to use MyRound after that means you accept the update.

13. Law and courts

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
